When I was a vicar with three young children my wife stayed at home to care for them. She was also at the vicarage for callers and acting as unpaid secretary, so finances were very much hand-to-mouth. Thanks to Sons & Friends of the Clergy we were able to take a proper family holiday on a number of occasions.

Since retiring, I have been suffering from both fibromyalgia and Parkinson's and have had to make alterations to the house and my life which involved expensive disabled aids and adaptions. In recent years, I have been able to get all these done through the kind help of grants. My life has become so much easier and my spiritual wellbeing much improved.

Without Sons & Friends of the Clergy, my own and my family's life would have been much more difficult and depressing. Thank you so much! We shall be forever grateful!
